Color:               DSH Black/gray Classic Tabby
Born Approx:   August 25, 2021
Gender:            Spayed Female/microchipped

In mid October, 2021, Clover and her brother, Oakley, were part of a nine cat rescue at a campground outside of a town in southern Alberta. We think we have their mom as well but it is hard to accurately say which kittens belonged to which of the three adult females. But if it's who we think it is, their mom (Poppy) is shy. Naturally, the kittens were too, but after being placed in a foster home with two human adults, three children, two dogs and several resident cats, it took only three days for them to go from fear to purring at the slightest touch. Their mom has been adopted by the foster family.

Clover is a girl who knows her own mind and does what she wants when she wants. But when her foster mom calls out "BABIES!", she comes running to her. She loves to bask in the sunlight and watch the wind blow the leaves around but that won't keep her from joining in on a cuddle puddle with her brother or the resident kitties. Like her brother, she's become very trusting and and tolerates anything that needs doing to her because, like most cats living outdoors, things needed attention - like her ears. She is not bothered in the least by the dogs or the chatter and joys of a busy family. One of the dogs, Olive, likes to give her snout scoots but Clover simply carries on with what's she's doing, not bothered in the least. Says foster mom about her little temporary guests, they are "absolute joys and stunning little cats, both so gentle and calm. They are the best of the best!"
