Mylo

ADOPTED

Mylo

Color:      DMH Brown Tabby with white
Age:        Born Approx. August 13, 2018

Gender:   Neutered Male (micro-chipped)

History:

Mylo was no longer wanted by his people. A caring couple learned of his situation and took quick action to save his life. They offered to work with PAW by providing a foster home - the most important part of rescue. But he didn't just need a place to stay, Mylo needed a home that would show him that kindness and respect are what he deserves. After his acceptance into PAW in late January, 2020, he was fully vetted - microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and neutered.

Personality:

Handsome Mylo is still in the process of getting to know his new environment  and its inhabitants: two humans, two cats and the family dog. Integration is being done carefully and slowly. Life hadn't been easy for Mylo prior to being 'rescued'. As a result, he initially displayed some trust issues but who could blame him! His reactions were a learned response to being treated unkindly. And then, slowly but surely, he began to trust his foster mom. He now snoozes on her lap or next to her and really enjoys a brisk and interactive play session with a string toy. He's making his foster dad work a little harder though! But both foster parents are doing an excellent job in helping Mylo realize that a good home means feeling safe and always-always-always being handled gently. He is making good progress.
